What to Expect

Parking

During the school year, our main parking lot fills up fast!  You might consider coming to the 8:00 or 9:20 services.  If you're visiting the 11:00 service, plan to come 15-20 minutes early to find a spot.   Sunday parking is also allowed on nearby side streets where signed.  We would ask that if you park on a nearby street that you be especially considerate of our neighbors.

The Music

Our purpose in singing on Sunday morning is to give glory to Christ.  We want to let folks worship in a style that doesn't distract them from focusing on Jesus Christ in the service.  Our 8:00 service is in a traditional style, where we regularly sing from the Hymnal with the organ and piano.  Our 9:20 and 11:00 services are more contemporary, led by a small worship team with instrumentalists.  It's not a rock concert, and the team's goal is to facilitate an environment that allows your heart to focus on the Lord Jesus Christ and not be distracted by what's going on up on the stage.

The Message

If God is not supreme in our preaching, where in this world will the people hear about the supremacy of God? If we do not spread a banquet of God's beauty on Sunday morning, will not our people seek in vain to satisfy their inconsolable longing with the cotton candy pleasures of pastimes and religious hype? If the fountain of living water does not flow from the mountain of God's sovereign grace on Sunday morning, will not the people hew for themselves cisterns on Monday, broken cisterns that can hold no water . . .?"

John Piper

We desire to see Christ magnified on Sunday morning as God's Word is faithfully proclaimed.  To get an idea of the kind of preaching presented on Sunday morning, please visit our sermon podcast.
