Summer Fellowship Meals

Are you lonesome for family? Each summer, GBC has "family reunions" around the table, on Wednesday evenings. It is "prime time" for fellowship, eating together and getting better acquainted. It is cost effective too! The meal has a suggested donation of $2.00 per adult, and $1.00 per child.

Remember your last move - the grief of leaving friends, church, and familiar surroundings? Each summer, people looking for a new church home, move into our community, ready to be "adopted" by new friends. You are a strategic part of that process, as an already existing part of GBC’s body.

Summer Fellowship Meals begin at GBC, Wednesday, May 20, and continue through August 19. The meals are from 5:45 -6:30 p.m. Each family is responsible for their children during the meal.

Another Wednesday evening "bonus" is from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Adults may choose to:

- Attend one of the adult classes offered. Child care will be provided for ages 0-3 for adults attending a class. A children’s class will be offered at the same time for ages 4-12.

- Attend the prayer meeting from 6:30-7:30, for worship, thanksgiving and intercession. The Wednesday group will be a willing partner and intercessor on your behalf.

- Continue to fellowship around the table.
